ABOUT US
Formation, founded in 2016 in the Triangle Area of North Carolina, is passionate about playing a role in strengthening synchronized skating in the South East, and creating connections between the southern and global synchro communities. Led by coaches with more than 25 years of combined national and international experience, parent volunteers and board members, the organization continues to develop a top synchro program for athletes in NC and neighboring states.
Our teams train on the weekends at multiple rinks around and near the Triangle Area of NC (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill) both on and off the ice, and compete across the country at Invitational Competitions, as well as USFSA Sectional and National Championships.
Mission
Formation’s goal is to develop both recreational and nationally competitive teams while at the same time fostering a supportive and positive environment for our skaters in which to grow. Great teams thrive on trust, mutual respect, and friendships.

Formation Synchro believes in empowering and inspiring each member of our program, and works towards helping our athletes reach their goals, while holding on to key fundamentals like kindness, dedication, skill, and teamwork.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Our teams have competed and performed everywhere from local competitions to Eastern Sectionals and the National Synchronized Skating Championships.

We are proud of our Alumni, who have gone to skate for Team USA, to pave the way for the Elite 12 division, and become National Champions and World Medalists.
